Hans Neger

Hans Neger (born October 1, 1902 ; † July 23, 1975 ) was a German football player who won the German championship in 1929 as a goalkeeper for SpVgg Fürth .

Career

Neger began playing football at MTV Fürth as a goalkeeper and moved up to the first team for the 1921/22 season - out of adolescence. In the South German Football Federation discharged championships he played in the first-class regional Kreisliga northern Bavaria and finished with the team the third of eight places; in the following season , relegation could be avoided with the fourth of eight places. In the 1923/24 season he played in the Bavarian regional league , from March 1924 due to the clean divorce , for VfR Fürth, which had become independent from the football department of MTV Fürth. With the seventh of eight places and the associated relegation, he denied a season in the second class. Committed to the 1925/26 season by SpVgg Fürth , he played for this first in the Bavarian district league, from the 1927/28 season to the end of the 1932/33 season in the Northern Bavaria group and his last two seasons in the Gauliga Bayern , in one of the first 16, later to 23 increased Gauligen at the time of National Socialism as the uniform top division in the German Reich . While he was a member of the club, he won five regional championships and the South German Cup four times with the team; his greatest success, however, was winning the German championship. In the 1928/29 season he played four final round matches and on July 28, 1929 guarded the gate in Nuremberg in a 3-2 win over Hertha BSC . In the following season he was used again in the second and quarter finals. With the exception of the 1932/33 season, in which he did not play a point game, he completed 184 point games for SpVgg Fürth.

With SpVgg Fürth, he took part in the Coupe des Nations 1930 , a tournament held by Servette Geneva as an alternative to the 1930 World Cup , and played the first round match won 4: 3 a.s. on June 29 against FC Sète as well as the one on June 2 . July 1: 7 against First Vienna FC lost quarterfinal game .

referee

In 1950, the former goalkeeper worked as a referee and line judge at the league level. In the latter position, he was physically attacked during the game between 1. FC Nürnberg against VfB Stuttgart (1-1) on February 5th, as was the referee Fritz Bouillon : "The police were powerless against the rowdies."
