Hans Peter Reuter (* 1942 in Schwenningen am Neckar ) is a German artist .

Life

From 1963 to 1967 he studied at the Karlsruhe and Munich academies with Albrecht von Hancke , Franz Nagel and Emil Schumacher . From 1967 to 1969 he studied art history at the University of Karlsruhe with Klaus Lankheit .

From 1969 to 1975 he was an art teacher at a high school in Karlsruhe. 1973 Villa Romana (Florence); 1975 Working grant from the Kulturkreis der deutschen Wirtschaft in BDI e. V. , 1976 to 1977 Cité Internationale des Arts Paris , 1977 Wilhelm Morgner Prize (Soest), Annemarie and Will Grohmann scholarships . In 1977 he was represented at Documenta 6 . 1980 Villa Massimo (Rome). 1988 permanent installation on the state horticultural show grounds Baden-Württemberg in Ettlingen .

From 1980 to 1982 Reuter was a board member of the German Association of Artists . From 1985 to 2007 professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg . Hans Peter Reuter lives and works in Lauf an der Pegnitz .
