Hans Schwartz (March 1, 1913 - June 10, 1991 ) was a German football player .

Career

Schwartz was a member of the 1st team of SC Victoria Hamburg from 1931 to 1948 . He made his debut in 1931 in the position of left full-back , which had been occupied for many years by Henry Müller . He also played the second season in the Oberliga Groß-Hamburg in the North German Football Association . In the Gauliga Nordmark introduced in 1933 , one of 16 Gauligen as a uniform top division in the German Reich , Victoria was initially not considered.

After the successful promotion round , he and his team belonged to the Gauliga Nordmark from the 1934/35 to 1941/42 season - switched to the middle runner position. In 1944 he was active as a guest player for the Berliner SV 92 . After 1945 Schwartz played again for his home club, also in the 1947/48 season in the Oberliga Nord , one of five leagues as the highest German division. In this he played his last eleven point games. After relegation, he ended his active football career at the end of the season.

National team

In March 1934 Schwartz belonged to the squad of the senior national team for the first time , but was not used. In two courses and some friendlies he could for an unknown squad for the 1934 World Cup in Italy recommended. On May 27, he made his debut in the senior national team, which won the round of 16 against the Belgian national team 5-2 in Florence . He did not come to any other tournament appearances because he was too nervous and had to vacate his place for Willy Busch as the tournament progressed . He finished the tournament with the team in third place . He played his last international game on October 7, 1934 in Copenhagen in a 5-2 win over the national team of Denmark .

Like all German football players of those years , Hans Schwartz was an amateur , and he worked as a fitter. His son Hänschen also played for the first team of SC Victoria Hamburg and was defeated on June 29, 1975 in the final of the amateur championship to VfR OLI Bürstadt with 0: 3.
