Hans Walther-Büel
Hans Rudolf Walther-Büel (born January 30, 1913 in Bern ; † February 23, 2002 ) was a Swiss psychiatrist .
Life
Walther-Büel received his doctorate from the University of Bern in 1945 and his habilitation from the University of Zurich in 1951 . In 1954 he received his habilitation at the University of Bern and was appointed director of the Münsingen sanatorium . In 1956 he received an associate professorship at the University of Bern. In 1963 he became a full professor for clinical psychiatry at the University of Bern and director of the Waldau Psychiatric University Clinic . In 1978 he retired.
