Hantos is a Hungarian community in the county Sárbogárd in Fejér County .

history

The place was mentioned in writing as early as 1211 under the name Hantos. In the Middle Ages the area was an administrative-military center for the Cumans . From 1419 the place was called Hantosegyháza . In the 18th century there were two separate villages, Kishantos and Nagyhantos . Between 1872 and 1950 the village belonged to the Nagylók municipality . Since 1950 Hantos is administratively an independent municipality.
