Igar is a Hungarian community in the county Sárbogárd in Fejér County . The districts Vámpuszta, Vámszőlőhegy and Dádpuszta belong to the municipality.

Geographical location

The rural community is located in central Hungary, about 15 kilometers southwest of the district town of Sárbogárd . Neighboring communities are Mezőszilas in the north and Simontornya in the south.

history

The place was first mentioned in writing as Igor in 1324 .

The Ozora Festival psytrance event , named after the neighboring community of Ozora , has been taking place in the community since 2004 .
