It was only in the game for twelve minutes. " In his second league match, a 4-1 defeat at Dynamo Dresden at the beginning of the second half of the season, he was able to celebrate a goal of his own, but remained without another goal in the remaining six appearances of the season.

Until his last league appearances in March 1987 for FCV and the first games for BSG Motor Babelsberg in December of the same year in the second-rate league , the striker, who was last served as a sergeant major, had a total of 100 appearances in the East German upper house, in which he scored 25 goals. In six European Cup games for FC Vorwärts, who qualified four times for the UEFA Cup between 1980/81 and 1984/85 , he could not shine as a goalscorer. From the mid- 1980s onwards , Gramenz was used more and more frequently in the 2nd team of the Frankfurt soccer club, to which he had been a member since 1974.
