Harald Rauchfuss

Harald Rauchfuss (born February 9, 1945 in Saaz ) is a German poet doctor .

Life

Rauchfuss received his doctorate in 1971 at the University of Mainz with a thesis on enzymes "of the carbohydrate metabolism and on adenine nucleotides in anucleate red blood cells of the rabbit under hemolysis with phenylhydrazine ". He works as a neurologist , psychiatrist and psychotherapist .

He has been a member of the Federal Association of German Writers and Doctors (BDSÄ) since 1984 and was its president from 2008 to 2016. From 2010 to 2017 he was also President of the World Association of Medical Writers .

He was also a board member of the Bavarian State Medical Association from 1994 to 2002 and of the Bavarian Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians from 1990 to 2001. Rauchfuss has been a member of the Rotary Club Neustadt an der Aisch since 1981 and is involved in the Rotary Relief Organization Neustadt an der Aisch, founded in 1993 .
