Hareidlandet has a bridge connection over the Dragsundbrua with the neighboring island of Gurskøya . From the direction of Ålesund , the island can be reached with the inland ferry Sulasund - Hareid. There is also a speedboat connection from Hareid via Valderøya to Ålesund Airport on Vigra Island and to Ålesund.
