Harold J. Stone

Harold J. Stone ; actually Harold Jacob Hochstein (born March  13, 1913 in New York City , New York , †  November 18, 2005 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actor .

Life

Stone was born into a Jewish family of actors. At the age of 6 he made his acting debut together with his father Jacob Hochstein. Harald J. Stone played in his 40-year career with Humphrey Bogart through to Jerry Lewis in the movies Spartacus , A Frogman on a Hook , The Wrong Man and The Greatest Story of All Time . He starred in over 150 television films. He received an Emmy for the film The Nurses . He had guest appearances in the series Bonanza , Simon & Simon , Charlie's Angels , Trapper John, MD , Kojak - Mission in Manhattan , Detective Rockford - Just give us a call and in the series A Cage Full of Heroes .
