In 2000, the comedy Kevin and Perry Do It was written , for which Enfield wrote the screenplay and in which he starred alongside Kathy Burke . After that, it was only seen sporadically in television shows and films for several years.
The collaboration with Whitehouse continued in Harry Enfield's Television Program , where they played the fictional duo Smashie and Nicey as DJ Mike Smash (Whitehouse) and Dave Nice (Enfield) , as well as in the BBC sketch series Harry & Paul (also: Ruddy Hell! It's Harry and Paul ), which first aired on BBC One from 2007 to 2012 and later on BBC Two .
In August 2015 both celebrated their 25th stage anniversary, which was honored with the program An Evening With Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse on BBC Two.
