Harry Kullmann (* 1973 ) is a German educator .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1992 at Göttenbach-Gymnasium (Idar-Oberstein) , he completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter apprentice at the Klaus Gemmel joinery in Idar-Oberstein from 1992 to 1994 . From 1994 to 1995 he did his community service in a carpenter's workshop for the rehabilitation of homeless people, Diakonie - Anstalten, Bad Kreuznach. From 1995 to 2001 he studied biology and chemistry for secondary levels I + II ( University of Bonn / University of Glasgow / University of Bremen / University of Cologne ). In 2001 he passed the first state examination for high school teaching in biology and chemistry in Bonn . From 2001 to 2003 he completed his legal traineeship and the second state examination for the grammar school teaching degree in biology and chemistry at the study seminar for grammar schools, Giessen. Training school: Wilhelm-von-Oranien-Gymnasium . In 2005 he was a visiting doctoral fellow with Judith W. Little at the Graduate School of Education, University of California, Berkeley . From 2004 to 2006 he was a scholarship holder of the German Research Foundation in the project School System and Culture of Individual Schools as a Context of Scientific Learning in Secondary Level I at the DFG Graduate College for Scientific Education at the University of Duisburg-Essen . After receiving his doctorate in 2009 as Dr. phil. at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Essen campus. Title of the dissertation: Teacher cooperation at grammar schools - An exploratory study of the characteristics and effects using the example of science teaching (magna cum laude). First reviewer: Klaus Klemm , second reviewer: Karl-Oswald Bauer , he was a research associate in the project: GribS - Primary Schools for the Individual Advancement of Bavarian Schoolchildren, Chair for Elementary School Pedagogy and Elementary School Didactics in Augsburg . From 2015 to 2017 he taught as a professor (W2) for educational science with a focus on school and teaching development in the secondary level at the University of Siegen . From 2017 to 2019 he taught as a professor for school pedagogy / general didactics with a focus on teaching and educational research at the University of Koblenz-Landau . Since 2019 he has been professor for special needs education and inclusion with a focus on school development and teaching research at the University of Paderborn .

His main research interests are school development research, v. a. in relation to indicators for measuring the quality of inclusion using the example of school well-being, classroom research, v. a. on the inclusive potential of cultural education using the example of the subject of performing games / theater and research on teacher professionalism, v. a. their development on the basis of multi-professional cooperation in all three phases.
