Hastfer
Hastfer is the name of a German-Baltic noble family .
history
The family is first mentioned in Estonia in 1287 with the knight and Danish vassal Nikolaus de Haversforde. First the Hastfer settled in Wierland and spread from there. The Hastfer were able to take the goods Sommerhusen, Kiekel , Kandel and Kattentak , after which individual houses of the family were named.
For Jakob Johann von Hastfer (1647-1695) out of the house Kandel which took place survey in the Swedish baron on 3 March 1678 and 12 December 1697 the Swedish count conditions . In 1689 it was introduced to the Swedish knighthood . For the brothers Johann Hastfer (1692–1769) and Gustav Berndt Hastfer (1695–1759) from the house of Kattentak, the elevation to the Swedish baron status took place on June 1, 1731 and March 12, 1755, respectively. The introduction to the Swedish aristocratic class Knighthood took place in 1731, that of the baron class in 1756.
