Haverland (Zehrental)
Haverland is a residential area in the Groß Garz district of the Zehrental municipality in the Stendal district in Saxony-Anhalt .

The Altmark village Haverland, originally a roundabout village , located one kilometer south of Great Garz and 10½ kilometers northwest of the Hanseatic city Seehausen (Altmark) .
history
In 1541 about ½ shock communicants in Haverland during the first general church visitation in the Altmark are reported. The village is also called Haverland in 1687 . In 1725 there was a yarn weaver in the village. In 1804 there were 12 half-farmers in the village of Haverland, one Kossät and one granny . There was a pitcher . In 1840 a school house with a row school teacher was built.
In 1953 the first agricultural production cooperative of type III, the LPG " Prof. Mitscherlich ", was established. In 1960 it cultivated an agricultural area of 253.6 hectares with 23 members. In 1960 there was also a type I LPG "Haverland". After various mergers of the cooperatives there was the Brigade Haverland of LPG "V. Party Congress ".
Incorporations
On September 30, 1928, uninhabited parts of the Groß Garz estate district from the Osterburg district were combined with the Haverland rural community. On April 1, 1939, the communities of Groß Garz and Haverland merged to form a community with the name of Groß Garz. Haverland became a district and remained so until at least 2006. After that, the village is no longer mentioned in registers of the federal state.

The Protestant Christians from Haverland are parish in the parish of Groß Garz, which formerly belonged to the parish of Groß Garz near Krüden in the Altmark. The church is now looked after by the parish area Beuster the church district Stendal in Propst Sprengel Stendal Magdeburg of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .
