Hebert Revetria , full name Hebert Carlos Revetria Acevedo , (born August 27, 1955 in Uruguay ) is a former Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

Offensive player Revetria stood at the beginning of his career from 1973 to 1976 in the ranks of Nacional Montevideo . From 1977 to 1978 he played in Brazil for Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte . For the Brazilians he scored eight goals in 25 league appearances. From 1979 to 1981 a career stint at Tampico-Madero FC in Mexico followed . During this period the statistics show him 61 games and 30 goals. From 1981 to 1982 he played 36 games for Deportivo Neza and scored 24 times in the opposing goal. In 1982/83 he had 21 games and five goals at UAG Tecos . 1983/84 he was again active for Tampico-Madero FC, played eight games and scored three goals. Then in 1984 CD Tolima was his employer in Colombia . From 1984 to 1985 he was a member of the Club Atlético Peñarol squad in the Primera División . In the 1985 season, the "Aurinegros" won the Uruguayan championship. Another career station was in 1986 Colo Colo (18 games / 3 goals), with whom he was Chilean champion of that year under the direction of coach Arturo Salah . Club affiliations followed in 1987 with CD Cobreloa (12 games / 2 goals) in Chile and in 1988 with the Montevideo- based club River Plate Montevideo .

National team

Revetria was part of the Uruguayan U-20 national team , which participated in the 1974 Junior South American Championship in Chile and in the same competition in 1975 in Peru . In 1974 they became vice South American champion. 1975 Uruguay and won the title. In the course of the tournaments he was used in 1974 by coach Carlos Silva Cabrera six times and 1975 by Walter Brienza also in six games. When he first played, he scored eight goals and became the tournament's sole top scorer. In 1975 he scored four goals and shared this personal award with the Brazilian Toninho . With the Celeste he took part in the Copa America 1975 under coach Juan Alberto Schiaffino and won the Copa Artigas and the Copa Juan Pinto Durán with Uruguay in the same year . Others

Revetria had been married to Gabriela Sóñora for 39 years in November 2014. He is the father of sons Sebastián and Nataniel , who is also a professional soccer player, and daughters María Gabiela and María Soledad. At least in 2014 he was in the management of the television station Tenfield .
