Heidemarie Rohweder

Heidemarie Hoss-Rohweder (born July 7, 1943 in Dithmarschen , † March 11, 2014 in Berlin ) was a German actress .

life and career

Heidemarie Rohweder, born in Dithmarschen in 1943, grew up in Nordhastedt . She studied at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater in Hamburg and worked in Kiel , then at the Stuttgart State Theater . In Stuttgart she met her husband Willi Hoss , their daughter Nina Hoss is an actress. Between 1989 and 1992 Rohweder worked in the Theater im Westen am Feuersee. From 1993 to 1998 she was the artistic director of the Württemberg State Theater in Esslingen am Neckar . Rohweder was involved in several television productions. Her better-known film roles include the one in Behind Bars - Der Frauenknast .

In March 2014, at the age of 70, she succumbed to cancer in Berlin.
