Heidgen is a district in the Katterbach district in Bergisch Gladbach .
history
The name Heidgen goes back to the settlement name Heidchen , which is recorded in the original cadastre in the area of today's street. Heidchen referred to the establishment of an early modern court, which is documented for 1731 as am Heydtgen . It was mentioned in 1820 in the form Heydgen .
