Heike Bittner

Heike Bittner (born November 16, 1963 in Freiberg ) is a German screenwriter , director and film producer . She lives in Dresden .

Life

Heike Bittner grew up in Chemnitz and completed an acting course after graduating from high school . She is the managing director of the media production company Meinwerk Film and works primarily for Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk , ZDF , ARD and Arte . In 2020 she won the German-Polish Journalism Award for a film about Polish homeless people in Berlin .

Bittner is a mother of two.
