The building with the postal address Heilgeiststraße 2/3 is a listed building on Heilgeiststraße in Stralsund , directly at the Kütertor .

The three- story brick building , the western portal axis of which is four- story and gabled , was built between 1909 and 1911.

The three-storey, eastern part of the building has identically designed halves. The windows on the ground floor and on the first floor are rectangular, the windows on the second floor have round arches. Two dormitories crown this part of the building. The portal axis is crowned by a triangular gable.

The building was constructed and used as part of the Stralsund playing card factories. The Ostsee-Zeitung was later located here . The Islamic Association Weimar Institute is currently planning to create space for a café, seminars, exhibitions and a prayer room in the building on four floors.

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 321.
