Heinrich Bredenbreuker (born April 20, 1884 in Winz , † October 14, 1965 in Bonn ) was a German bank director.

Life

The merchant's son attended high school in Steele up to Obersekunda (year 11) , then the higher commercial school in Dortmund . In 1901 he began an apprenticeship in a bank. From 1907 to 1909 he studied at the Handelshochschule Berlin under C. Krüger, among others. With his recommendation, Bredenbreuker became a board member of the Vereinsbank Cottbus EGmbH , a cooperative bank, in 1909 . In 1919 he moved to the board of directors of the Bank für Handel und Gewerbe EGmbH in Lübeck . In 1922 he became director of the cooperative department of Dresdner Bank in Frankfurt am Main . From 1930 he took over after his doctorate to Dr. rer. pole. Lecturer at the cooperative institute of the University of Frankfurt am Main . In 1933 he joined the NSDAP . In the same year he became a board member of the Deutsche Genossenschafts-Hypothekenbank in Berlin . From autumn 1939 to 1943 (other sources: 1942) he was managing director of the Deutsche Umsiedlungs-Treuhand on behalf of the Dresdner Bank. In this function he was apparently also involved in Aryanizations . From 1942 resp. In 1943 he took over the "co-management of the Upper Silesia District of the Dresdner Bank with its seat in Katowice ". At the end of 1945 Bredenbreuker was in discussion for a teaching position at the TH Dresden . From 1946 to 1953 worked in the cooperative system in Dresden . From 1954 to 1958 he was a consultant for the Volksbank for the districts of Cologne , Bergheim and Brühl .
