Heinrich Christian von Hüser

Heinrich Christian von Hüser (* 1741 ; † December 26, 1821 ) was a Prussian colonel and chief of the riding artillery .

Life

Origin and family

Heinrich Christian was a member of an old noble family from the Fulda area.

He married Sabine Henriette Christiane Michaelis (1748–1788). At least the sons Ludwig von Hüser († 1850), Prussian captain and Heinrich von Hüser (1782-1857), Prussian infantry general, emerged from the marriage.

Career

Hüser joined the Prussian artillery in 1762 and became second lieutenant in the same year . In 1774 he was promoted to prime lieutenant and in 1779 to staff captain . He continued a career, rising to prime captain in 1785 and major in 1793 . In 1795 he was promoted to lieutenant colonel and was awarded the order Pour le Mérite in the 3rd Artillery Regiment during the review from May 30th to June 2nd, 1799 in Petershagen . Finally, in 1801, Hüser was promoted to colonel. In 1805 he was regimental commander of the riding ends artillery and has his 1813 farewell with pension received.
