Heinrich Siegmund von Vippach and Mark-Vippach (born March 17, 1712 in Thuringia , † May 14, 1755 in Polish Wartenberg ) was a Prussian colonel and chief of the hussar regiment No. 4 .

Life

origin

His parents were the heir of Tschanswitz Julius Friedrich von Vippach († May 12, 1733) and his wife Erdmuthe Sophie, born von Sebottendorff from the Rothwerndorf family (* 1680; † May 16, 1737).

Military career

Since his parents lived in the Principality of Brieg , he was initially employed in Saxony-Gotha . In 1740 he moved from there to Prussian services . He came to Hussar Regiment No. 2 , where he fought in both the First and Second Silesian Wars . He was also noticed by Friedrich II , who promoted him to lieutenant colonel in April 1746 , and at a review in September 1746 he received a magnificent saber from the king. In November 1748 he became commander of the "Ruesch" hussar regiment , and in February 1751 he was colonel and chief of the "Natzmer" hussar regiment . He died on May 14, 1755 in Polish Wartenberg.

He was married to Countess Helene Charlotte von Salisch . The marriage remained without children.
