Heinrich Stadelmann
Friedrich Gustav Heinrich Stadelmann (born January 15, 1865 in Memmingen , † July 12, 1948 in Dresden ) was a German psychiatrist and writer . He also published under the pseudonym Gustav Waldar , Gustav Radlaw and Xaver.
Life
Heinrich Stadelmann was the son of the philologist, teacher, Byron translator and poet Heinrich Stadelmann (born March 30, 1830 in Barthelmesaurach , † October 1, 1875 in Schopfloch ). He completed his medical studies and doctorate in Würzburg . In 1883 he became a member of the Corona student union, which later became part of the Germania zu Würzburg fraternity . He also ran his first practice and private clinic in Würzburg. In 1906 he opened a psychotherapeutic practice and private clinic (the so-called Vogel-Haus ) in Dresden, in which every patient (mostly adolescents and young adults) was classified as one species of bird. He practiced suggestive and hypnotherapy on his patients and wrote one of the earliest books on psychotherapy .
As a friend and writer, he was the Dresden expressionist circle The bridge connected. As a playwright, novelist and author of psychological, philosophical and scientific writings and life-science advice, he published in the journal Der Einzige , which was published in Berlin from 1919 to 1925 . In 1920 he was portrayed by Otto Dix . On February 13, 1945 he had to experience his existence destruction (bombing). He published some of his numerous writings under a pseudonym .
