Heinrich Tiaden
Heinrich Tiaden (born May 9, 1873 in Witten / Ruhr , † September 30, 1949 in Ebersteinburg near Baden-Baden ) was a German writer .
Life
Heinrich Tiaden came from a family of craftsmen . After attending a primary school in Elberfeld , he completed an apprenticeship as a book printer . He acquired knowledge of music theory and history in an autodidactic way and worked as a music teacher . From 1904 to 1910 he worked as a proofreader for Bagel-Verlag in Düsseldorf ; from 1914 he was a freelance writer and also an editor at the Paulinus publishing house in Trier .
In 1919 Tiaden worked as a dramaturge at a film company in Berlin and from 1920 to 1922 as a dramaturge and deputy director at the Stadttheater Trier . From 1922 he lived as a freelance writer in Ebersteinburg .

Heinrich Tiaden's literary work includes numerous novels - including a number of detective novels and moral novels - as well as short stories and plays . Tiaden mostly published his works under his name, but some also under a pseudonym : in addition to Heribert Eberstein , Uncle Theobald he also used the palindrome of his name, H. Nedait , or an anagram - H. Denita .
