Heinrich Ziegenspeck ( February 16, 1897 - October 2, 1962 ) was a German football player .

Career

won the Hamburger SV for the first time in 1923 and again in 1928.

Ziegenspeck belonged to the Hamburger SV as a striker on, for which he in the Football Association of North German discharged Championships first in the Alster district in the district of Greater Hamburg denied point games.

At the end of his first season, he finished third with his team, but still took part in the final round of the North German Football Championship as the defending champion . With one point ahead of Holstein Kiel , he became North German Champion.

He moved into the final with Hamburger SV through the successful qualification game against Borussia Harburg , the successful quarter-final match at Eintracht Hannover and the bye in the semi-finals. The final held on April 29, 1923 in the Hoheluft Stadium against Holstein Kiel was won 2-0. In the subsequent final round of the German Championship 1922/23 he was not used.

He finished the following season with Hamburger SV with two titles; first he won the championship in the Greater Hamburg district for the first time, then and again the North German championship.

In the period that followed, up to the end of his career in 1931, he won the Hamburg district championship four times with Hamburger SV, the North German championship three times and finally, in 1928, the German championship again.

For Hamburger SV, he played nine final rounds of the German championship, in which he scored four goals. He made his debut on May 11, 1924 in the 3-0 quarter-final victory over the United Breslauer Sportfreunde . He scored his first goal on May 16, 1926 in a 3-1 round of 16 victory at Duisburger SpV with a 1-1 goal in the 24th minute. He scored his last goal on July 22, 1928 in an 8-2 semi-final victory over FC Bayern Munich with the goal to take the 2-1 lead in the 46th minute. Then he was also part of the final team, which defeated Hertha BSC on July 29th at the Altona stadium 5-2 in front of 42,000 spectators.
