Heinz Diedrich Wulff

Heinz Diedrich Wulff (born January 18, 1910 in Altona ; † 1983 ) was a German botanist . His botanical author abbreviation is " H.Wulff ".

Life

After the dissertation 1933: Contributions to the knowledge of the male gametophyte of the angiosperms. (Botany) at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel and the habilitation in 1937: Karyological investigations on the halophyte flora of Schleswig-Holstein. (Botany) in Kiel he taught from 1938 to 1945 as a private lecturer for botany in Kiel and from 1945 to 1957 as an adjunct professor for pharmacognosy in Kiel. In 1957 he became a full professor for botany and pharmacognosy at the Saarland University in Saarbrücken. From 1958 to 1960 he was the rector of Saarland University in Saarbrücken.
