Heinz Fellhauer

Heinz Fellhauer (born April 8, 1928 in Stuttgart ) is a German lawyer and director of Deutsche Welle from 1980 to 1981 and from 1987 to 1989.

Life

Heinz Fellhauer studied law at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen . In 1949 he became a member of the Catholic student union AV Guestfalia Tübingen in the CV . In 1955 he received his doctorate with the work The international organizations in the field of railways and their importance for the standardization of the railroad and transport law at the University of Tübingen.

Heinz Fellhauer, administrative director of the station since 1962, became interim director after the sudden death of Conrad Ahlers for the period from December 19, 1980 to June 30, 1981. After the Broadcasting Council had reached an agreement, Klaus Schütz , the former mayor of Berlin, became director. Fellhauer became his successor as director of Deutsche Welle on July 1, 1987.
