Works

In his oil paintings and collages, Fischer-Roloff varied in many ways the rectangle as a basic element of his work, which he later reduced strictly in form and cool colors. He created whole rows of collages from finely graduated strips of paper, which are reminiscent of the surfaces of ancient walls with weathered, crumbled and patched layers of plaster and "with their finely nuanced colors and their flat relief are peculiarly attractive."

Some of the artist's works are in public ownership, such as in the Lower Saxony Ministry of Culture .

In addition, Fischer-Roloff took part in various exhibitions organized by the Kunstverein Hannover and the German Association of Artists .
