Heinz Holtgrefe

Heinz Holtgrefe (* 1949 in Bremen ) is a German author , journalist and photographer .

biography

As a teenager he discovered his enthusiasm for photography and began to work in his own darkroom . After moving to Berlin in 1968 , he participated in several photo exhibitions there, taught photography at adult education centers and made numerous photo trips abroad. In 1976 he graduated from high school and then began his journalistic career at BZ. Three years later, he moved to Lilienthal in 1979 and got a job in the Bremen editorial team of Bild . Following this engagement, he co-founded Bremen Magazin and in 1982 switched to Bremer Nachrichten as an editor for state and local politics . After the local editorial team was merged with that of the Weser-Kurier , Holtgrefe rose in the departmental hierarchy . In 1997 - after recovering from a serious illness - he returned to work as a simple editor and focused on the retail, housing, food and catering sectors.

He achieved great fame through two weekly columns : his recipe series Pott und Pann has been published since 1983 , in which he has already published over 1,000 cooking suggestions, and since 1989 he has been the author of Meals Together! , a respected restaurant review. To date, Holtgrefe has carried out around 1,000 tests for these in Bremen and the surrounding area. Some reviews found their way into the Schlemmer Atlas .

Heinz Holtgrefe, who also publishes photo calendars, has been married since 1976 and has two children.
