Heinz Rosenbauer

Heinz Rosenbauer (born May 19, 1938 in Hückeswagen ; † January 21, 2010 in Bad Feilnbach ) was a German lawyer and politician ( CSU ).

Life and work

Rosenbauer was born the son of a businessman. After graduating from high school in 1958, he began studying law at the universities of Bonn and Würzburg , which he completed with the first state examination in law. 1964 doctorate Rosenbauer to Dr. jur. He completed his legal clerkship in Würzburg, Schweinfurt and Aschaffenburg and graduated with the second state examination in law. From 1969 to 1980 he worked as a notary in Gemünden am Main . He has been married twice and has three children.

Rosenbauer joined the CSU. He was deputy chairman of the CSU district association of Lower Franconia , member of the CSU state executive committee and state chairman of the CSU lawyers' working group . In 1970 he was elected to the Bavarian State Parliament, to which he was a member until 1994. From 1974 to 1978 he was first vice-president of the state parliament.

Rosenbauer served from November 7, 1978 to July 17, 1984 as State Secretary in the State Ministry for Labor and Social Affairs and from July 17, 1984 to October 19, 1988 as State Secretary in the State Ministry of the Interior in the government of the Free State led by Prime Minister Franz Josef Strauss Bavaria . From October 19, 1988 to October 30, 1990, he took over the post of State Secretary in the State Ministry of Justice under Prime Minister Max Streibl .
