The Heipker Bach is a 4.6 km long, left tributary of the Werre in the northeast of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia .
course
The Heipker Bach rises at an altitude of 110 m above sea level. NHN between the Leopoldshöher districts of Schuckenbaum in the south and Nienhagen in the north in the immediate vicinity of district road 5. From its source, the water flows curvy in a north-easterly direction through the "Großer Holz", a large piece of forest. After flowing through this forest, the Heipker Bach takes its first inflow at KM 2.0. This nameless tributary rises north of Nienhagen, flows largely parallel to the Bexter, which runs further north, through Bexterhagen and flows after a distance of 3.3 km at an altitude of 88 m above sea level. NHN on the right into the Heipker Bach. A peculiarity is that the nameless tributary has covered a much longer flow distance to this point than the Heipker Bach itself.
The Heipker Bach flows in its further course in an easterly direction and takes on its second tributary, the 2.8 km long Heipkebach , west of Heipke . This rises in a forest near the center of Leopoldshöhe at an altitude of 124 m above sea level. NHN and flows out at an altitude of 85 m above sea level. NHN into the Heipker Bach, which in turn passes Heipke and flows into the Werre east of Heipke at KM 35.0 . The mouth height is 81 m above sea level. NHN .
The Heipker Bach drains a small part of the Ravensberg hill country .
environment
On its last hundred meters of its course, the water flows north past the Heipker See. This and the Heipker Bach itself form the 25 hectare nature reserve "Heipker See". This is a " biotope complex " which is characterized by a "great diversity of species". The Heipker Bach is assigned to water quality class III. This means that it is very dirty.
