Hektor Llanos Burguera (born July 6, 1972 in Vitoria-Gasteiz ) is a former Basque triathlete . He is included in the best list of Spanish triathletes on the Ironman distance .

Career

In 2000 Llanos started in Mexico at the Aquathlon World Championships and came fourth there (2.5 km run, 1 km swim and 2.5 km run).

In April 2007 he was runner-up in cross triathlon in Ibiza - just one second behind his four years younger brother Eneko Llanos .

Hektor Llanos was active as a triathlon professional for 21 years. In 2010 he ended his activities as a professional and has been looking after his younger brother ever since.
