Hector von Kwilecki

Hector Graf von Kwilecki (born January 20, 1859 in Posen , † February 3, 1912 in Kwilcz ) was the owner of the manor and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Kwilecki attended the Royal French Gymnasium in Berlin and the St. Maria Magdalena Gymnasium in Posen. From 1879 to 1884 he served with the 2nd Guard Uhlan Regiment . In October 1880 he became the Seconde Lieutenant transported later he became the Captain of the Guard Landwehr cavalry . As a farewell, the officers of the 2nd Guard Uhlan Regiment gave him a valuable silver plate made by the important Berlin silversmith D. Vollgold & Sohn with the engraving of the regimental coat of arms above the inscription "Hector Graf Kwilecki 1880 - 1884" and the names around the edge the donor in the order of their military rank: “Colonel v. Scholten, Major v. Wurmb, Maj. Grf. z. Eulenburg, v. Raven, Rittm. Grf. v. Schlippenbach, v. Oertzen, Count. v. Haslingen, Ms. v. Lentz, v. Natzmer, Prem. Lieut. v. Wiedebach, Frhr. vd Borch, Frhr. vd Knesebeck, v. Vollard-Bockelberg, vd Marwitz, Sec. Lieut. v. Below, v. Tiedemann gv Brandis, v. Paczenski et Tenczin, v. Katte, (Gustav) Prince Biron v. Curland, Gr. v. Oppersdorff, Gr. v. Kwilecki, Gr. v. Schmettow, Gr. vd Goltz, v. Willich, v. Beneckendorff uv Hindenburg. "

Count Kwilecki was the owner of a manor on Kwilcz and had been married to Jadwiga Aniela Zaluska since 1887 , with whom he had three children. He later married Zofia Klementyna Zaluska , with whom he had a daughter.

He was real. Secret chamberlain of the Pope and member of the Presidium of the Catholic Day in Gdansk (1891).

From 1887 to 1903 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency administrative district Posen 2 ( Samter , Birnbaum , Obornik , Kreis Schwerin (Warthe) ) and the Polish parliamentary group .
