Heleen Hage

Heleen Hage (born October 13, 1958 in Sint Maartensdijk ) is a former Dutch cyclist .

In 1984 Heleen Hage was second in the overall ranking of the Grande Boucle Féminine . In 1985 she became Dutch runner-up in road racing and the following year she won the national title. At the UCI Road World Championships in 1987 in Villach , she finished second behind Jeannie Longo-Ciprelli . In 1988 she started in the street race at the Olympic Games in Seoul and finished 19th.

Heleen Hage comes from a cycling family: her sister Keetie van Oosten-Hage has been the Dutch road champion several times and twice world champion, and her second sister, Bella van der Spiegel-Hage , also won the national title three times.
