The Hellberg is a 252.6 m high mountain in Untereichsfeld in South Lower Saxony ( Germany ).

Hellberg is located between the towns of Rollshausen an der Hahle and Rüdershausen an der Rhume, about six kilometers north of Duderstadt . The predominantly forested mountain belongs to the hilly landscape of the Hellberge within the Eichsfeld Basin and to the Untereichsfeld nature reserve .

The mountain area includes the Dicksberg (231 m) in the northeast and the Große Hennenberg (249 m) in the southeast . The mountain can only be reached on foot via numerous hiking trails. On the summit is the so-called Tillyeiche , an approximately 300-year-old tree that has been replanted .
