Helmut Behr (born September 17, 1952 ) is a former German soccer player who, as an active member of Karlsruher SC, played 34 games in the 2nd Bundesliga from 1978 to 1980 and scored two goals.

Player career

Helmut Behr was a successful player at FC Phönix Bellheim (Regionalliga Südwest) in the early / mid-seventies . About the stations SV Viktoria Herxheim and Hassia Bingen he came to the round 1978/79 with his teammate Gerhard Bold von Bingen as a new addition to the Karlsruher SC in the 2nd division. Coach Manfred Krafft used the fast left winger in 18 games during the season. The KSC occupied fifth place in the table. In its second season in Karlsruhe, KSC took second place behind champions 1.
