Friedrich Helmut Lepp

Helmut Friedrich Lepp (born May 30, 1913 in Marbach am Neckar , † 1996 in Vilshofen an der Donau ) was a German dentist and NSDAP member.

Life

Lepp first studied dentistry at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and then at the University of Hamburg . During his time in Munich in 1932 he was reciprocated in the Corps Ratisbonia . After his license to practice medicine in 1935, he worked as an assistant at the West German Kieferklinik in Düsseldorf with August Lindemann and in 1938 switched to the Dental Institute of the University of Cologne . In 1939 he was at the Medical Academy Dusseldorf Dr. med. dent. PhD. In 1940 he moved to the jaw ward of the First Surgical Clinic at the University of Vienna as Hans Pichler's assistant .

He was from 1933 a member of the Sturmabteilung (SA) and from 1 May 1937 a member of the National Socialist German Workers Party (NSDAP) (membership. 5,215,079), in 1937 he joined the National Socialist German Medical Association and the National Socialist Altherrenbund and the National Socialist People's Welfare . In 1940 he did military service in the Air Force as a junior physician and in 1942 advanced to senior physician.

After the Second World War , he became an assistant at the Dental University Clinic in Münster in 1947. In 1948 at the latest, he switched to the clinic for oral, dental and jaw diseases at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg as a specialist dentist for oral surgery . In 1953 he went to the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf as a senior physician .

He then emigrated to Venezuela , where he worked as a lecturer in dentistry in Maracaibo and Caracas from 1955 . In 1957 he was appointed professor by the Universidad Central de Venezuela - without having completed his habilitation . His main areas of work and research were skull osteomyelitis , oral carcinomas , dental anesthesia and microphotography . After his retirement he returned to Germany.
