The Gmina Imielno is a rural municipality in the powiat Jędrzejowski of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the village of the same name with around 215 inhabitants in 2011.
geography
The municipality borders on the municipality of the district town of Jędrzejów in the northwest . The most important body of water is the Nida with the Nida Landscape Park .

traffic
North of the main town, the national road DK78 runs in an east-west direction from Zawiercie to Chmielnik .
The single-track narrow-gauge railway ( Świętokrzyska Kolejka Dojazdowa ) from Jędrzejów to Pińczów has stops in Wygoda and Motkowice. The single-track freight line Linia Hutnicza Szerokotorowa from Sędziszów to Staszów also runs through the municipality.
