Helmut Lamprecht
Helmut Lamprecht (born April 7, 1925 in Ivenrode ; died February 2, 1997 in Bremen ) was a German radio editor and poet .
Life
Lamprecht was a soldier from 1943 to 1945. He graduated from high school in Halle in 1946 and then studied German, philosophy, history and sociology in Halle and Frankfurt . In Frankfurt he encountered Adorno's critical theory , which was to determine his intellectual development significantly. In 1958 he received his doctorate with a thesis on Wilhelm Raabe .
He first worked as an editor at Hessischer Rundfunk and then switched to Radio Bremen , where in 1977 he became head of the “Cultural Word” department. In 1990 he retired.
In 1953 was in Eremitenpresse of VO Stomps a first volume of poetry published. In the following years he published poetry in anthologies and magazines, a number of volumes of sayings and aphorisms and also several sociological studies. He also worked as the editor of various anthologies, especially contemporary and political poetry. Since 1968 he was a member of the German PEN
