Helmut Schreck

Helmut Schreck (born February 24, 1941 in Grän / Tyrol) is a former Bavarian politician of the CSU . He was a member of the 14th Bavarian State Parliament . Before that he was mayor of the market in Obergünzburg in Ostallgäu for many years .

Life

After visiting the elementary and then the middle school he was elevated service in a notarial act. In 1971 he joined the CSU. From 1972 to 1994 he was mayor of Obergünzburg. In this function he was a member of the Ostallgäu district council and the district committee , each spokesman for the CSU parliamentary group. He was also chairman of the CSU district association Ostallgäu.

From 1998 to 2003 Schreck was a member of the 14th Bavarian State Parliament as a member of the Ostallgäu constituency 711 ( Marktoberdorf - Buchloe - Füssen ). There he was a member of the committee for municipal issues and internal security , the committee for questions of the public service and in the "advisory board according to the law on the organization of electronic data processing" (later renamed to "advisory board for information and communication technology - IuK advisory board" ).

Helmut Schreck is a Roman Catholic, married, and has one daughter. He is involved as one of the two chairmen of the Obergünzburg Hospital Promotion and Preservation Association.

Honors

Schreck has been awarded the Federal Cross of Merit , the " Communal Merit Medal " of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior, the Ring of Honor of the Ostallgäu district and, since 2003, the honorary title of "Old Mayor" of the Obergünzburg market.
