Henner Bunde (born November 30, 1964 in Berlin ) is a German historian , art historian and political official ( CDU ). From 2012 to February 12, 2019 he was State Secretary of the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises (until December 8, 2016 Senate Department for Economics, Technology and Research ) in the Berlin Senate .

Life

After graduating from high school , which Bunde took in Berlin-Spandau , he began to study history , art history and older German philology at the Technical University of Berlin , from which he completed a Magister Artium .

This was followed by positions as personal advisor to the City Council for Economics in the Department of Fundamental Matters of the Magistrate Administration for Economics of East Berlin (1990), as head of the office and at the same time personal advisor to the Senator for Finance of the State of Berlin Elmar Pieroth (1991-1995), as group leader , in particular for matters of public law institutions and companies in private legal form in the utilities and waste disposal industry , in the investment management division (1995–1996) and as a consultant for individual and fundamental issues in the investment policy and privatization division (1996–2001) in the Senate Administration for finance.

From 2001 to 2006, Bunde was group leader / consultant, particularly for corporate privatizations (from 2003: deputy head of unit) in the investment policy and privatization division: group leader / consultant, particularly for corporate privatizations, and between 2006 and 2012 head of division in the participation management II division of the Senate Department for Finance, where he was responsible for the Transport, services, utilities and waste management, culture and leisure, science, health and social affairs and between 2009 and 2012 also acted as deputy head of department for assets and investments .

On December 5, 2012, under Senator Cornelia Yzer (CDU) , Bunde was appointed State Secretary of the Senate Administration for Economics, Technology and Research as the successor to Nicolas Zimmer , and on February 12, 2019, on the proposal of Senator Ramona Pop ( Greens ), he was temporarily retired . His successor was Barbro Dreher.

Bunde has been a member of the CDU since 2005 and from 2011 was temporarily a member of the board of the CDU local association Lilienthal in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district .
