Hennersdorf ( Hendrichojce in Lower Sorbian ) is a district of the town of Doberlug-Kirchhain in the Elbe-Elster district in southern Brandenburg .

Hennersdorf is located on the L60 about 2 km east of Doberlug-Kirchhain in the direction of the town of Finsterwalde .

history

The place name is derived from the German personal name Heinrich . The first recorded name was "Heinrickesdorp", then "Henrichesdorf" (1253) and "Heynerßdorf" (1468). The seal shows a hen.
