Henrik Fleischer

Henrik Fleischer (born April 24, 1963 in Sisimiut ) is a Greenlandic politician ( Siumut ).

Life

Henrik Fleischer, who is a hunter and fisherman, ran for the first time in the 2014 general election . For the Partii Naleraq he reached 64 votes, which he landed on the first replacement place. Than in October 2016 Cabinet Kielsen II was formed, Henrik Fleischer moved to the Naalakkersuisut appointed Hans Enoksen the Parliament of Greenland after. In the 2017 local elections, he won his party's only mandate in the Qeqqata Kommunia with 118 votes . Since both parties are part of the government, their one-man majority was retained. In February 2020, the Fisheries Committee, chaired by Henrik Fleischer, declared its mistrust in its minister and party colleague Jens Immanuelsen . As a result, Henrik Fleischer was kicked out of the Siumut on February 23, so that the minority government of the Kielsen V cabinet again only had a one-person majority . Just two days later he was pardoned and re-accepted into the party.
