Herbé Seijas

Herbé Seijas (born March 4, 1930 in Montevideo , † May 3, 1983 in San José de Mayo , Department of San José ) was a Uruguayan clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of San José de Mayo .

Life

Herbé Seijas received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Montevideo on October 10, 1956 .

On July 2, 1975, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the titular bishop of Tigisi in Mauretania and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in San José de Mayo. The coadjutor archbishop of Montevideo, Carlos Parteli Keller , donated him episcopal ordination on August 17th of the same year in the Catedral Basílica de San José de Mayo in San José de Mayo ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Maldonado-Punta del Este , Antonio Corso , and the Bishop of Mercedes , Andrés María Rubio García SDB .

On October 15, 1975, Pope Paul VI appointed him. to the Bishop of San José de Mayo. The inauguration took place on December 21 of the same year.
