Herbert Mensching

Herbert Mensching (born January 11, 1928 in Hanover , Lower Saxony , † September 28, 1981 in Hamburg ) was a German actor and voice actor .

Life

Herbert Mensching trained as an actor in Hanover and got his first engagement at the regional theater there. Further stations of his work were Schleswig, Baden-Baden, Augsburg , Cologne and the small theater in the zoo in Frankfurt am Main.

From 1961 to 1965 he worked at the Schauspiel Frankfurt , from 1965 he belonged to the Bavarian State Theater in Munich, where he embodied the note in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream in 1971 . There were also guest appearances, especially at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. Here he was seen as Robespierre in Danton's Death in 1976 and in the title role of The Imaginary Sick in 1979 . He also starred in several films and many television productions.
