Hermann Hinterhuber

Hermann Hinterhuber (born November 21, 1838 in Mondsee in Upper Austria , † February 26, 1918 in Klagenfurt ) was an engineer and member of the Austrian House of Representatives .

Life

Hermann Hinterhuber was the son of the pharmacist Rudolf Hinterhuber († 1892). He went to grammar schools in Salzburg and Linz and then attended the Bergakademie in Schemnitz , at that time in Hont County (in today's Slovakia ). From 1860 he was an engineer in the state mining industry . From 1865 he was director of the coal and zinc works in Johannisthal in Styria (today in the municipality of Sevnica in Slovenia ). From 1872 to 1882 he was general director of the Bleiberger Bergwerks-Union in Klagenfurt, from 1882 its board of directors .

From 1898 to 1900 he was Vice President of the Klagenfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry .

Political functions

From 1882 to 1897, 1898 to 1902 and from 1903 to 1909 Hermann Hinterhuber was a member of the Carinthian Landtag ( 5th , 6th , 7th , 8th and 9th electoral periods ) in the elective class of the Chamber of Commerce . On September 26, 1882 he was sworn in for August von Frey . From 1882 to 1897 he was also on the state committee.

From 1884 to 1887 he was also a councilor in Klagenfurt.

From March 27, 1897 to December 17, 1897 and from March 21, 1898 to September 7, 1900 he was a member of the House of Representatives in the Reichsrat ( IX legislative period ), Crown Land Carinthia, Curia of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Klagenfurt . He resigned on December 17, 1897 because of a libel trial, but was re-elected thereafter.

From January 31, 1901 to January 30, 1907 he was a member of the House of Representatives in the Reichsrat ( Xth legislative period ), Crown Land Carinthia, Curia Chamber of Commerce and Industry Klagenfurt .

Hermann Hinterhuber was a member of the Association of the German People's Party (in 1897 only as an intern ).
