Hermann Ludwig Pfeiffer

Hermann Ludwig Pfeiffer (born July 2, 1858 in Stockach ; † after 1924; Catholic) was a lawyer and official member of the Baden civil service since 1889 , comparable to a current district administrator .

family

Pfeiffer was the son of the businessman and landlord Josef Pfeiffer (* August 2, 1811 in Stockach; † December 10, 1884) and Josefa born Reiser (* February 27, 1820; † December 10, 1884). He married Juliana Fuhrmann (born June 19, 1869 in Oberhausen ) on September 27, 1890 in Emmendingen , daughter of the regional geometer Julius Fuhrmann (born June 12, 1839 in Eppingen ; † October 1, 1910 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) and the Elisabeth born Löes (born April 8, 1845 in Odenheim ; † December 21, 1904 in Freiburg). From this marriage comes the daughter Elisabeth (born June 7, 1893 in Emmendingen) and the son Julius Goswin (born June 1, 1894 in Waldshut ).

Life

After studying law until December 1885 and passing the first and second state exams , Pfeiffer became a trainee lawyer from 1889 . During his studies in 1880 he became a member of the Ghibellinia Tübingen Landsmannschaft . He received his first position as bailiff on October 31, 1893 at the Waldshut district office and then on July 12, 1897 he was transferred to the Pforzheim district office , where he was promoted to senior bailiff on October 11, 1898. On March 11, 1899, he was appointed head of the Säckingen district office and then, from July 30, 1904, at the Sinsheim district office , before being transferred to the Bruchsal district office on March 21, 1908 . There he was appointed a secret councilor in 1910. On April 10, 1913, he became a member of the administrative court and in his last position before his retirement he was an official member of the Lahr district office .
