Hermann Viellieber

Hermann Viellieber (born January 9, 1917 in Konstanz ; † January 23, 1993 ibid) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Viellieber attended the Zeppelin secondary school in Konstanz up to the upper secondary level and then completed an apprenticeship as a butcher. He did Reich Labor Service from 1937 to 1939 and participated in World War II as a soldier from 1939 to 1945 , most recently as a captain. After passing his master butcher examination, he took over the management of his parents' butcher's shop in 1948. Later he was President of the German Butchers' Association , state guild master of Baden, board member of the butcher's trade association and member of the executive committee of the Central Association of German Crafts . He also acted as a sworn expert for the Chamber of Crafts in Konstanz .

Viellieber was a co-founder of the CDU in Constance in 1946. In the state elections in 1960 , 1964 , 1968 and 1972 , he was elected as a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg , to which he belonged until 1976, through a direct mandate from the constituency of Constance I.

Hermann Viellieber was married and had six children.
