The Hière is a river in France that runs in the Pays de la Loire region . It rises in the municipality of Quelaines-Saint-Gault , generally drains in a south-westerly direction and flows into the Oudon as a left tributary after 33 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Chérancé and Châtelais . On its way, the Hière crosses the Mayenne department and also touches the Maine-et-Loire department in its estuary .
