Peuton is a French municipality with 227 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Gontier and is part of the canton of Château-Gontier . The inhabitants are called peutonnais .
geography
Peuton is about 21 kilometers south-southwest of Laval . Peuton is surrounded by the neighboring communities Quelaines-Saint-Gault in the north, La Roche-Neuville with Loigné-sur-Mayenne in the east, Marigné-Peuton in the south, Simplé in the west and Cosmes in the north-west.
